Now, Ayan in Telugu

Surya normally promotes films special to him in Hyderabad (he had done Ghajini and Surya S/o Krishnan in the past).

He said, "This is a special film. Ayan had the biggest opening and garnered good reviews too. It's my 23rd film. K V Anand Sir was my cameraman in my first film Nerukku Ner. When he directed his first film Kana Kandein, I loved the dimensions he gave to his character (Prithviraj) and watched him doing a different first film. After Surya S/o Krishnan was appreciated, I wanted to do an entertainer which was smart and pacy. I chose this (Veedokkade) as I loved the adventure.

"This is about a city-based boy who dares to do something different and the film is all about how he gets into and out of it. The screenplay and characters will excite the audience. Veedokkade will have double the impact of Ghajini. It has already broken records in Tamil in terms of collection. This is my fourth film where Harris Jayaraj has scored music. Tamannaah is at her best in the film. The film will reach all sensibilities even though it is about a city-based boy. It's a class apart in style and sleekness."
