What was working with Jaccky like?
Initially, I was very uncomfortable during the photoshoot. But Jaccky was very helpful and made me feel comfortable.
We had a lot of dancing sessions and script discussions. Since Bhoothnath was delayed, we got five months to get comfortable with each other.
It was great working with him. He is a great dancer. He is very hard-working and does not come across as a newcomer. But what mattered most, is that he is a very good human being. Despite his filmi background, he never threw any tantrums. He is very grounded.
What is the film about?
It is film based on Nihal Singh (Jaccky)'s life. He can see the future. I would call it a romantic suspense thriller. But it's also a typical commercial college film. I play his love interest, Meesha Kapoor. How we fall in love forms the story.
According to Jaccky, there was a bike scene where you had to wear a short outfit. He said you were uncomfortable in that.
That's right. I'm not comfortable with such costumes. Even during my modelling days, I never wore revealing outfits. As for the scene, I told Vivekji about my concerns. There were no problems after that.
If you are not comfortable, nobody can force you. It's important to share a good rapport with the director. As for me, I had made this clear right from the beginning. Being glamorous is important, but that doesn't mean you have to wear revealing outfits. What matters is performance.
