A touch of Taare Zameen Par
The other heroine of Mayabazaar is Tisca Chopra, who shot to fame as Ishaan Awasthi's mother in Taare Zameen Par.
Tisca Chopra says that she loved the experience in Malayalam. "I have been to Kerala before and I like this land a lot. Mayabazaar will be my next release after Taare Zameen Par, though I have completed Nandita Das' Firaaq. I am also eagerly awaiting the release of a comedy with Rajat Kapoor in Hindi, the shooting of which will start soon," says Tisca. Post Taare Zameen Par, she is easily recognized by the crowds in Kerala.
Lyrics by Sarath Vayalar have been composed by Rahul Raj while Manoj Pillai is the cinematographer.
