How difficult was it to rope in producers for Hello?
It was very difficult. Producers refused to produce my film, as they only saw my previous work. Since Dil Ne... didn't do well, they feared to invest in Hello. So I got producers from Hollywood, Paul Parmar and Funky Buddha. They believed in the project despite the fact that the film shows some scenes where we insult Americans.
How difficult was it to shoot the film? After all, the events unfold in one night...
It was very difficult. I was killed financially, as it was very slow and a lot of money went into filming. We wanted to make it more intense, so we set it against the backdrop of the 26/7 rains. So getting tankers to pour water was very expensive. We used to shoot from 7pm to 7am.
The God scene alone took us 14 nights to shoot. I didn't want anything to go wrong in that particular scene. So we shot that scene last.
What next?
Nothing yet. If this doesn't do well, I may not make films anymore.

Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Sanjay Dutt, Sridevi, Imran Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kareena Kapoor and Preity Zinta. Also my kids, who have debuted in Hello -- Ayaan (10) and Alizeh (12).
