Most of us know him as Neo from Matrix. But true filmies will remember Keanu Reeves in an early role as a rocker in 1989's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.

True to form, he delivered a great performance. Turns out, it wasn't so difficult for him to play the spaced out metal head. Reeves, after all, has played bass guitar for various bands, including the punk rockers, the Vandals.

Musically, he's best known as the bassist from Dogstar, and has even shared the stage with David Bowie! Ultimately, the band separated in 2002 and Reeves moved on to play with metal band Becky, before hanging up his guitar. At least for now!
