Ah, the birth of Saamri. Played by Ajay Agarwal, the grotesque Saamri was one of the Ramsay stable's most iconic ghouls, and this was the film that started it all.
Perhaps the finest exponent of the Ramsay School of Horror (before it went all cardboard and camp), Purana Mandir is an earnestly crafted shocker with some genuinely scary treatment.
