Yes, we were close. People told me the chemistry between the two of us was good. We are good friends. In future too even if we do different projects, I will be there for him and he for me.

You and Swati also made a good pair. How was it sharing space with her?

It was a great experience. If all us acted with ease, it's because all the artistes were supportive, particularly Swati. She was the senior most amongst the main leads. We used to be scared of her in the beginning as she was bubbly with high energy levels and had already acted in many films.

But she made us comfortable and was like a friend. She was a good source of support. Any actor is lucky to get a good co-star like her.

What about director Mohankrishna?

From the first time I met him, I got only positive energy from him. He jokes and laughs. There is not a single dull moment when he is around. Even during the shoot, there was no boredom.

He has a superb sense of humour. I like him as a director and more than that, I like him the way he is with his family and the way he deals with his friends. I like him as a person. I think it's a talent to draw what he writes from an actor. And he is a master at that.
