'I thought this was the best possible debut for me'
This is Vedhika's first Kananda film. The actress has acted in quite a number of Tamil and Telugu films like Sivakasi, Muni and Kaalai opposite big stars like Arjun, Raghava Lawrence and Silambarasan. She was also recently seen in the Tamil film Sakkarakatti.
Though Vedhika's education was done in the UK and the US with specilaisation in Marketing, she preferred to take up acting profession mainly because of her love for dancing.
Vedhika's mother tongue is Kannada and her native place is Solapur of Maharashtra. "Sangama is a big production backed by a top producer like S V Babu. I did get some offers from Kannada earlier but I chose to accept this film because I thought this was the best possible debut for me here in the Kannada film industry," says Vedhika.
