Now comes the fun part. The villain of the book and the film is Bakshi. Bakshi is not only stupid, he is also evil. He plays an important role in Shyam's life and him not doing well professionally. His character was inspired from my ex-boss. I hated him and to get out my frustration, I started writing.

Why Dalip Tahil suits Bakshi

Dalip fit the bill as he looks like a corporate man, who loves America. He would bring props to the sets and act like a perfect wannabe American, following American standards.
