Interestingly, Aamir was not involved in the early stages of the film's production. Tyrewala had planned the film with late producer Jhammu Sughand, two years ago. Unfortunately, due to financial problems, Sughand could not complete the film. Aamir stepped in, and saved it from getting shelved.
