Joshiy, known for making some of the biggest commercial hits in Malayalam is directing Twenty 20. Camera work is by P Sukumar and music by Suresh Peters.
Script writers Siby K Thomas and Udayakrishnan explain that it was the story that was given the main focus and not the images or the fan following of the stars.
"Once we started thinking for a storyline with such a big canvas, we knew how difficult the task was going to be. We finally fixed on one theme, which was liked by everyone. The whole experience has been truly rewarding. It was just like a big celebration and it is indeed heartening that the artistes took part in the shooting with the right spirit," says the duo.
There are several speculations doing the rounds regarding the storyline, but those involved are not ready to divulge any details. Still, the popular assumption is that it's going to be a crime thriller. The film is slated to hit the theatres towards end June.
