As Shirley -- the extrovert and vibrant girlfriend of an army man who passes away in a tragic turn, she marvelously transformed with the changing circumstances of her character.
It wasn't a major role, in terms of screen space or length for the then numero uno. Even so, she sure made her presence felt.
