How was working with Mallika like?
Mallika plays an upcoming actress in the film, and she had all the oomph and agility that was necessary.
She is not snooty at all. She was slightly childlike and moody at times, but she never created any fuss.
She was the life on the sets; she kept the mood lively. She would tease Paresh Rawal and call him Gujarati Sahib-E-Alam. She would tease Rahul Bose for his art house performances too, and tell him that you got your first hit in my film (Pyaar Ka Side Effects). Rahul would then say that we are all junior artists in front of her.
She would flirt with Kay Kay, as that would make him conscious.
The best part was she would get ready quickly and not ask unnecessary questions, like other heroines. She knew what was important and did that, even if it was revealing her body.
What about the male cast?
I have known Paresh Rawal since our theatre days, so there was no discomfort working with him. We understood each other well.
Rahul Bose and Kay Kay Menon were the serious type of people. And then, we had the very talented Pawan Malhotra.
Where has the film been shot?
It has been shot in Goa, Mumbai, Pondicherry and the Konkan region.
