Crime officer Anbu Selvan (Surya) and his friends and colleagues track down the most wanted don. Pandiya (Jeevan), the don's younger brother, decides to take revenge by taking their families hostage.

Gautham Menon's film is one of the first underworld Tamil films and takes a look at how the lives of gangsters and the police are interlinked -- how the two sides have to sacrifice their loved ones in the line of duty.
