By the time Amala entered the movie scene, Kamal was more than an established actor, and had begun experimenting, branching out more and more into unconventional roles.

Among their films together like Sathya and Vetri Vizha, it was the silent film Pushpak, which was unforgettable.

It was a delight to watch the two sharing moments with just expressions and actions. This one film is enough to make Amala one of Kamal's most successful heroines.
