What were the styles used?
We work in tandem with the costume designer, so we style our actors accordingly. I gave Mallika side bangs, which is the rage at the moment, and also coloured her hair.
Once the style was set, we used a lot of colourful clips and hairbands. We have also given her other looks. There is one with braids, topped off by a cowboy hat. Then we have a more traditional hairstyle that went with her classical dance costume.
