One of the Hollywood actors in Arun's film is John Shea, an Emmy award-winning artist who has acted in films like Hussy, Windy City, The Insurgents and Framed. Achchamundu! Achchamundu! will be his first Indian feature film.
John, who began his film career with Missing (which won the academy award for Best Screenplay in 1982), has a number of commercial hits to his credit like Honey I Blew Up The Kid as well as the critically acclaimed film Lune De Miel.
He is also a veteran theatre artist who has acted in productions like the Pulitzer Prize-winning How I learned to Drive, Romeo and Juliet and A Soldiers Tale.
John's directorial venture Southie too was a success and won the Jury Award for Best Independent Film at the 1998 Seattle International Film Festival.
