It has not been the best of times for Mohanlal with Rock n Roll and Flash proving to be major duds at the box office.
He has already completed an offbeat Akashagopuram based on a play by Ibsen and directed by K P Kumaran. He is currently shooting for director Sathyan Anthikkad's film, which has Meera Jasmine as his heroine.
The grapevine has it that Mohanlal was paid more than a crore for College Kumaran, though no one is ready to confirm the figures.
Siddique, Nedumudi Venu, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjarammood and Shamna Kasim make up the rest of the cast.
