Filmmakers claimed that Sultan the Warrior is the first of its kind where an actor is getting animated. It took 6-8 months of pre-production work and Soundarya plans to finish the film by the end of 2008.
The film, made at an estimated cost of $10 million, will be released simultaneously in English as well as 12 different languages including the Indian languages like Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
The character modelling, texturing, visual effects, lighting, animation and rendering are all done at the Ocher Studios in Chennai, Soundarya said. A team of 80 members is working on the film.
