The Golden Globe winners, 2008

American artist and filmmaker Julian Schnabel bagged the Best Director award for his film, Diving Bell & the Butterfly. He beat other directors like Tim Burton, Ethan Coen and Joel Coen, Ridley Scott and Joe Wright.
The French film also won in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
