Well-known producer M S Raju turns director for this film, a remake of the Kannada blockbuster Mungaru Male. This film is presented by Raju's Sumanth Arts banner and has been adapted to suit the taste of the Telugu audience.

The film has Vinay (the hero the late Jeeva's Tamil film Unnale Unnale) and Meera Chopra (of Bangaaram fame) as the lead pair.

Kamalakar is the man behind the music.
