Preity's father Durganand Zinta was an Army officer, who tragically passed away when the bubbly actress was just 13. Currently, her brother Deepanker is serving as an officer in the Indian Army, and recently Preity got to go and meet him, thanks to a television show in Ladakh, where he is based.
