The Look: Akshaye plays Saif's younger brother. He's the sexy rebel. His character is a party animal who drinks and misbehaves. He's not bothered about how he looks. He's wearing subdued coloured T-shirts and jackets. He wears the same type of jeans, same boots throughout the film. He always has his shades on and he looks hung-over most of the time. His look, in a way, is the opposite of Saif's.

Inspiration for the look: The character itself was the main inspiration for the role. Akshaye and I went to school together and I have always known him to be naughty, so that also played a part in designing his look. We've used a lot of High Street Fashion like Diesel and Energy.

Akshaye's inputs on the look: When I first met Akshaye to talk about his look, he was very apprehensive because he'd imagined his character differently. He wanted to wear suits. I had to convince him otherwise -- a party animal suddenly putting on a suit didn't make sense. But once we'd settled on the look, Akhsaye was cool about the whole process.
