Shammi Kapoor opposite Saira Banu in Junglee (1961)
Saira Banu, daughter of actress Naseem Banu, was born in India but brought up in London. She decided to return to India to try her luck in films.
Her first film was opposite Shammi Kapoor in Junglee, where she mesmerised the audience with her beauty. She became a successful actress through the 1960s and early 1970s.
After her marriage to Dilip Kumar in 1966, Saira quit the movies a decade later.
