Tabu reunites with Abbas after 12 years!

Idhi Sangathi is based on Patanjali's novel Nuvve Kaadu (his serial Mera Bharat Mahaan was republished as a novel). Director Chandra Siddhartha read the novel and immediately thought of making a film based on it.

"It took about 1-2 years for the project to materialise as I had to find a producer first. The film is about the money factor in human relationships. It is a humorous take on greed and corruption. It is the flip side of Aa Naluguru (Siddhartha's earlier award-winning movie). However one cannot categorise the film in any genre. Style and theme-wise too it does not fall in any commercial format though it is made like one," elucidates Siddhartha.

A key point, Siddhartha says is the ending "which gives a new dimension to the film. That is the suspense."
