The Dhoom series
Taking a break from syrupy romances set against Swiss Alps, Yashraj Films came out with the utterly eye-catching and racy Dhoom in 2004.
Director Sanjay Gadhvi's loosely inspired version of Hollywood's The Fast and the Furious caught the fancy of viewers with its nifty bike-racing sequences, dazzling chartbusters and a delicious duo of John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan.
It's sequel Dhoom 2 was bigger and better, if you discount the lack of story and logic. Marvelous stunts in Namibia and Brazil aside, the superbly toned bodies of Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai cavorted in bikinis and mini-skirts respectively hogged a lot of limelight.
Whereas Hrithik Roshan demonstrated what makes him Bollywood's official super hero, Krrish or no Krrish. Not so surprisingly, the second film in the Dhoom series was a money-spinner as well.
