Only you and Farhan have knowledge about music. How was it to work with Arjun and Purab who did not know about music?
Arjun may not be an actual musician but he has the music sensibility, and so does Purab. They just had to apply it practically on some instrument.
When we were not shooting we would jam. The four of us gelled. If it was anybody else than us I don't think it would have come out this well.
What are your favourite scenes?
I thought I had favourite scenes but when I watched the film, I loved it all. That said, I like a scene with Farhan and Prachi; Arjun and Sahana, and also a scene where Purab sings and dances. There is a graveyard scene which is also very nice.
How was the concert scene shot?
Abhishek had set it so naturally that it was an actual concert with real people and real emotions. There were five to six cameras capturing all of it in real time just like how an international live concert is recorded world wide. The crowds heard the songs for the first time and by the time we finished they knew the songs and sang along.
What kind of music do you like?
I love all kinds and genres of music. It is very difficult for me to choose a favourite.
What would you say is the USP of the film?
Live your dream. If you have desires and dreams to do something, don't wait, just do it.
