Mohanlal, The Master Builder
Kumaran has adopted the theme and has come out with his own version of the plot. He says that it is a peculiar Malayalam film, with a philosophical tone.
The characters in Aakashagopuram are people of Malayali origin who live in London.
Besides Mohanlal, the movie also has Bharat Gopi, Sreenivasan, Manoj K Jayan, Geethu Mohandas, Swetha Menon and debutante Nitya, among the cast. Aakashagopuram is eminent actor the late Bharat Gopi's last completed film. The actor passed away early this year.
