A sexy number for Rs 1.75 crore!
Incidentally the sizzling dance number by Vishal and Nayanthara is the song Chellame Chellame. The sets for the song itself cost the producer a whopping Rs 1.75 crore, the director revealed at a recent press conference.
To appear bare-chested for slightly more than a minute, Vishal worked hard for six months a get his six-pack abs!
It was also reported that Rs 1.5 crore was spent on a car chase sequence.
"When we started this project, I submitted a Rs 3.80 crore as budget. But we spent around Rs 24 crores on the project," said the director.
