'You could see all of Udaipur, and it is a sight I can never forget'

What is your favourite sequence in the film?

It is the musical dance numbers called Dance Me If You Can, which is also one of the best songs in the film. I am sure people are going to love it a lot.

What do you remember most about this sequence?

We were filming that at the Monsoon Palace, which is on top of this huge hill. As we arrived there, the sun was rising. You could see all of Udaipur, and it is a sight I can never forget. I kept telling myself repeatedly that I'm in India. I am in India. But there were also many other locations that were incredibly beautiful.

People must have been asking you if you got to see Taj Mahal?

We could not because of the shooting schedule. My parents got to see it. They came back and showed us pictures.

What would tell someone who is planning to visit India for the first time?

Enjoy your journey, I would tell them. And then I will also tell them to prepare a lot and take a lot of pictures. Everywhere you turn, there is something amazing waiting for your camera.

What is next for you?

I have a book coming out in October called Princess of Gossip. It's about a young girl who kind of gets pulled from the Midwest out to the West Coast and learns a lot of life lessons when she starts a Web gossip site. One of the lessons she learns is that if you talk nasty things about people you can face a big backlash.
