Disappointment reigned supreme in the sequel to 1994's racy blockbuster, Speed.
When Keanu Reeves refused to be a part of the second installment in the series, co-star Sandra Bullock readily agreed to play replacement Jason Patric's love interest.
Instead of a bus, Speed 2 is set on the Seabourn Legend, a luxury ocean liner which goes completely haywire of after a crazy computer whiz messes with its controls. And so who better than Patric and Bullock to save the day?
Both audience and critics, however, were left unimpressed by director Jan de Bont's lacklustre treatment and Patric-Bullock's damp on-screen chemistry.
