U, Me Aur the Titanic!

Mann

Indra Kumar took a break from over-the-top comic dramas like Dil, Beta and Ishq to direct his first full-fledged romance, Mann.

The Aamir Khan-Manisha Koirala starrer borrowed heavily from Hollywood's An Affair to Remember featuring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, which in turn was a remake of 1939's Love Affair.

The kerchief caper starts off cheerfully enough on a cruise liner, traveling from Singapore to India. During the sea trip, an incorrigible flirt (Khan) falls heads over heels for a Miss Goody Two Shoes (Koirala). The duo, however, is previously committed to different people.

When the cruise comes to an end, they decide to test their feelings for each other and meet at a pre-decided venue, namely The Gateway of India, after six months. What happens next? Basically, the movie (along with subsequent tearjerkers Aashiq and Rishtey) bombs and Indra Kumar reverts back to Masti brand of film-making.
