Jaime Luis Gomez, better known as Taboo Nawasha, didn't turn to music until his late teens. He joined the Black Eyed Peas in 1995 and is one of the founding members. The group originally went by the name 'Atban Klann', but changed it after switching record labels.

Taboo is known for his Kung-Fu inspired dance moves (being a practitioner of Jeet Kune Do) and eclectic style of dressing.
