To convey the extent of the wide-spread struggle for independence and Mahatma Gandhi's bid to achieve the same, the filmmaker re-visited chapters of history in Amritsar, New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Porbandar, Pune, Patna and Udaipur.
