You were Sanjana Gandhi in Mungaru Male but now you are Pooja Gandhi. Why did you change your name after tasting success?
Pooja Gandhi is my real name and I had acted in many non-Kannada films under my own name. But Yogaraj Bhat sir who directed Mungaru Male felt there were many Poojas in Kannada, and decided to change my screen name. Now I want to go back to my original name.
You are acting in Budhdhivantha and Accident...
I was thrilled to bits when I got an offer to work with Uppi sir in Budhdhivantha. The film has five heroines but mine is the central character.
Ramesh Arvind sir telephoned me one day with an offer to act in Accident. I immediatedly accepted the offer because of my respect for him as an actor and director. I have worked with him only for a few days now, but it has been a great experience.
