Jolie won an award for 'Best Breakthrough Performance by an Actress' from the National Board of Review, USA for her role in this 1998 comedy drama about several seemingly unconnected characters played by Sean Connery, Gena Rowlands, Gillian Anderson, Jon Stewart, Jay Mohr, Ellen Burstyn, Ryan Phillippe, Anthony Edwards, Madeleine Stowe, Dennis Quaid and Patricia Clarkson.
