Munnabhai MBBS told a simple and engaging story.

A gangster, played brilliantly by Sanjay Dutt, wants to prove to his parents that he can be the doctor they want their son to be. Only, getting a degree is just not as easy as it seems. Or is it? :)

Director Rajkumar Hirani and dialogue writer Abbas Tyrewala struck the right chord with the audiences, and gave us one of the best-loved movies of recent times. They followed it up with a sequel, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, another brilliantly hilarious film.
