Kabhi Kabhi (1976)
Yash Chopra's Kabhi Kabhie brilliantly translates the poetry of romance and relationships onto celluloid.
The story, which travels two generations, depicts the attitude of a set of people reacting to love and heartburn -- of those who move on and those who don't.
Bachchan plays the bitter, cynical protagonist unable to get over his lady and her loss. On the other hand, Chopra shows us his protective and playful side as the doting daddy of Sweetie.
What we enjoyed most is Big B's fluid recital of Sahir Ludhianvi's poetry.
