There's something about Tabu. One can see a reflection of her shy, poetic and sensitive persona in the characters she chooses to play. From Pehla Pehla Pyaar to The Namesake, this Hyderabad native has come a long, long way.

During her heydays, gorgeous Farha looked every bit of the mesmerising Hindi film heroine dancing around trees and breaking into a jig opposite Sanjay Dutt or Aamir Khan. Unlike the versatile Tabu however, the conventionally prettier Farha stuck to playing run-of-the-mill heroine.
