Vishal Bhardwaj's first production (along with Omkara backer Kumar Mangat) was always going to be different. Director Anurag Kashyap was gung-ho about this 100 percent Anurag production, a trippy retelling of a Stephen King story. Experimental cinema was never this daring.

If only it made any sense.
