His name is Paul Thomas Anderson and -- seeing he made Boogie Nights and Magnolia -- we're fans for life. Based on Upton Sinclair's Oil!, a novel with enough meat for much dysfunction, this looks right up PTA's alley.

Daniel Day-Lewis leads the cast in this film about family politics, infighting and much good ol' Texas backstabbing. Yee-ha!
