Ee Bandhana, Kannada's Diwali gift
Jayaprada who had worked with Vishnuvardhan previously in films like Himapatha and Habba earlier would have almost missed this film. After she signed the film, the elections to Uttar Pradesh Assembly were announced, and she was expected to campaign. She then gave continuous dates after the elections.
"I was happy when my friend offered me the role. I was doubly happy when I came to know that I would be working with Vishnu sir under her direction. I have worked with many top artists like Dr Raj Kumar, Dr. Vishnu sir and Ambareesh sir in many Kannada films, but working in this film has given me a lot of satisfaction. I am sure we have made a touching film which will go down well with the audience."
