Honestly, on this issue, I will take some time and say that if things were under my control, I would have never spoken on this issue. I think there are certain areas in your life which are very personal, and you don't feel like sharing them with others.

I had a simple choice in front of me when I returned from Toronto. If it was a personal choice I would have remained at home, and never spoken to anyone, but as a professional a film of mine was on the verge of its release, and it was my duty to go out there and promote my film.

So whatever little I spoke about that chapter of my life came out from the fact that if I am going in front of the media, and if I were to keep mum on this issue, they might get angry at me. There are many things people want to know, so as per the basic requirement I communicated it to the media. Beyond that I am not comfortable in talking.

In fact, I was least comfortable talking about that too, but I had to go and promote my film because I knew that the media would be there and they will expect me to say something. I said whatever little I had to say and beyond this I won't like to speak anything.

I had only said that Kareena and me are not together and that is part of life. We are both happy wherever we are, we both are mature individuals and thats how it is.
