Cannes 2007: The winners

The festival's Special 60th anniversary prize went to American director Gus Van Sant, the man behind movies like Drugstore Cowboy, My Own Private Idaho, Even Cowgirls Get The Blues, Elephant and most recently, Paranoid Park.
