Facts: The band was born in 1975, for god's sake. Bassist Steve Harris, the man responsible for not just thudding precision but also the lyrical masterworks, is 51. Bruce Dickinson, one of the greatest vocalists in metal history, is 49. Nicko, the much lampooned superstar drummer, is 53.
Fact: They rocked our pants off with the tightest concert experience India has ever seen.
Of course we had fears about the setlist. As the background remained an apocalyptic war-ravaged Eddie, Maiden rocked out three singles from the new album, A Matter Of Life & Death.
