Satish Kaushik has had to contend with rather batty ones, the most memorable picks being Calendar (in Mr India) and Pappu Pager (in Deewana Mastana).
Johnny Lever had his share of absurd titles like Tempo Dada (Narsimha), Girdhar Inder Jaunpurwala 'G.I. Joe' (Andaaz), Paakhandi Baba (Tumko Na Bhool Payenge), Havaldar Hatela (Hello Brother)... you get the drift.
The man with the corniest one-liners, Kader Khan came up with the hard-to-forget-harder-to-remember Dr. Bhuleshwarchand Bhooljanewala in Pyar Ka Mandir.
But no one made a name for himself, pun intended, like Jagdeep aka Soorma Bhopali, pictured above. So popular was his act in Ramesh Sippy's Sholay, it prompted him to make a spin off movie solely on the character. Unfortunately, the film was not as memorable.
