Not even in their wildest dreams did director Radhamohan and producer Prakashraj expect their small film to make it so big.

There is nothing extraordinary or sentimental about any of the relationships in the film whether it was between the deaf-mute girl Archana and Karthik the singer, Karthik and his friend Vijay, or Archana and her best friend Sheela. Everything about the film was natural, warm, and humorous. They had this natural humour, the ability to laugh at oneself and the realistic portrayal that made people love the film. Like our review said, Mozhi is a pathbreaking film in Tamil.
