Riya and I had a meeting before we did the shot to brainstorm some ideas. I wanted a bikini but she didn't want to wear a bikini bottom. So she came with a suitcase with her clothes, and I chose something from there. I knew she'd be fit for the picture because we go to the same gym.

Usually, when we shoot against the sea, we shoot in the morning light so that the sea gets lit up as well. But this is shot in the evening, that's why you see the heavy glare in the sea. We lit her up separately, so it gives a night effect by the sea. We did her makeup with the colours of the sun. It looked like she was in the Bahamas -- with a guitar in her hand -- but she was actually on Mumbai's Versova beach.
