Taxi Number 9211 is a cat-and-mouse thriller about a cynical, no-nonsense taxi driver Raghu Shastry (Nana Patekar) and a hot-headed spoilt brat of a rich industrialist Jai Mittal (John Abraham), who engages his services one fine day.

The taxi meets with an accident and Jai escapes, only to realise later that the key to his father's will is still in the taxi. In the ensuing chaos and events that lead to the climax, the lives of the protagonists get intertwined and change forever.
