The year hasn't been that great for Telugu cinema despite films starring biggies like Chiranjeevi (Shankardada Zindabad -- the sequel to Shankardada M.B.B.S) and Mahesh Babu (Athidhi.
Though the films got mixed reviews, the actors’ performance came in for some praises. Here are the noteworthy ones of 2007.
Venkatesh
Films: Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule (AMAV), Thulasi
'Victory' Venkatesh came back with a bang after a gap of more than a year with AMAV.
Selvaraghavan had etched a good role for him in AMAV, which required portraying a lot of subtlety in emotions. And Venkatesh was perfect as Ganesh in this film.
Thulasi, on the other hand, projected Venkatesh more as an action hero. As Thulasi Ram, Venkatesh was a silent, yet violent character. The movie had a lot of sentimental stuff as well. So Venkatesh could portray a kaleidoscope of emotions.
